About the Role
Work under close direction and supervision of the Principal to instruct kindergarten students on language, science and mathematics using Montessori teaching methods, including lecture and demonstration; supervise activities, such as fields visits, group discussions, and dramatic play acting; foster cooperative social behavior through games and group projects to assist children in forming social relationships with other children; direct students in simple spelling, mathematics, singing, dancing, and drawing to promote self-expression and rudimentary knowledge of language, music, art and science.
$59,000/year - $65,000/year; 40 hours/week
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with course works in child language education and activity guidance, science education and activity guidance, educational statistics and measurement, and modern educational technology; 1 year’s experience in job offered.
